How does the free trial work?
Create an account and try Starter on your own, or Family if you’re setting up accounts for your children. Either way you get 14 days with no card needed. When it ends, pick a plan to keep going. Your lessons stay safe in the meantime.
What counts as a tutor reply?
Each time your tutor answers you, that’s one reply. A lesson is a back-and-forth conversation, so it uses several.
What’s a voice passage?
One stretch of your tutor speaking in a natural, studio-quality voice. When a month’s passages run out, your browser’s built-in voice takes over.
Which plan do I need for my child?
Family. It lets you make an account for each child and see how they’re getting on, with up to 5 people on one plan, including you. To try it free for 14 days, choose “With my family or class” when you sign up.
Can I change plans later?
Anytime. You can upgrade or change your plan from your account.
How does pricing work for schools?
Schools, teachers, tutors, and districts join through the Partner Program. Apply on the partners page and we’ll put together what fits your students.
Is my payment information safe?
Payments are handled by our payment provider, Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
